Driver caught speeding at just 25mph handed huge fine
A MOTORIST who was caught speeding at 25mph has been fined hundreds of pounds.
Jamie Valentine, 43, was caught exceeding a 20mph limit in Mare Street, Hackney, back on July 7 last year.
Valentine, of Kelso Close, Rayleigh, admitted speeding but was handed a £512 fine during a hearing at Lavender Hill Magistrates Court last week.
He was also ordered to pay costs of £90, a victim surcharge of £55 and had three points added to his driver’s licence.
