Southend Council's adult social care and health boss Cheryl Nevin said: “I’m delighted to see the return of the pop-up clinics and the vaccination bus this half term which offers a more mobile, flexible way of delivering the Covid-19 vaccination to residents of Southend.

“The clinics and vax bus make it easier for everyone to get protection whether it’s your first, second or booster dose.

“No appointment is needed and if you have any doubts or concerns about getting the vaccine, then why not pop along to a clinic or hop aboard the bus for a chat with the friendly teams.

“By getting the vaccine you are not just protecting yourself but also your friends and family.

“It will also help to reduce the number of hospitalisations and increased pressures on our health service this winter.”
