KIRK Norcross has paid a heartfelt tribute to his dad on the same day as his own son’s birthday.

Former Towie star Mick Norcross was tragically found dead inside his home in Essex by Kirk in January last year.

Kirk has previously revealed his desperate attempts to try to revive his father on that fateful day and has revealed he has been suffering with PTSD ever since.

To mark his own son Harry’s fifth birthday, Kirk posted a touching video of him and Mick together alongside a reminder of his love of his dad.

Kirk wrote on Instagram: “I miss you so much dad.

“You made me the man I am today.

“I will not forget anything you showed me! I love you so much.

“If only I knew you were hurting I would of done anything to help you.”

Kirk later posted another video where he reflected on his own relationship as a father with son Harry.

During the video, he said: “The joy that little boy brings to me is unbelievable.

'It's a different kind of love and it makes me realise why my dad worked so hard because I'm doing it for my son, to just give your children the best life you can.”

A coroner ruled Mick took his own life amid concerns over financial struggles and the potential loss of a life-times work.

Area coroner Lincoln Brooks ruled Mick Norcross died as a result of suicide.
