ALL of the homes at a huge new housing development have now been sold... five months before construction is due to finish.

The 401 houses being constructed at Elizabeth Gardens, in Rochford, have been sold with eager residents ready to move into the development off Hall Road once the homes are completed.

Construction work, being carried out by Ashberry Homes, is due to come to an end this summer.

The new estate is part of a wider 620-home scheme being delivered in partnership with Bellway.

The development consists of a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.

Kate Jones, sales manager at Ashberry Homes, said: “We are delivering a wide range of homes at Elizabeth Gardens, from two-bedroom properties suitable for first-timer buyers right through to large five-bedroom detached houses ideal for growing families.

“The varied mix of house sizes and designs has attracted buyers from different stages of the property ladder, and this is one of the main reasons why the development has sold out so quickly.

“The attractive yet convenient location has also been a major factor in the development’s popularity.

“Elizabeth Gardens benefits from a semi-rural setting on the edge of the Essex countryside and just five miles from the coast.

“At the same time, it is only a 10-minute walk from Rochford railway station which has direct trains to London in under an hour.

“This has proved to be an extremely appealing combination for those seeking a new value-for-money home in the ever-popular county of Essex.”

At least £3.5million is being invested in education through financial contributions towards services as part of the 620-home development.

More than £225,000 is being provided for healthcare, £15,000 towards air quality measures, £60,000 to aid conservation in the area and £50,000 for highways.

Ms Jones added: “At Ashberry Homes, our aim is not just to deliver top-quality new homes but to assist in the creation of thriving new communities which are a positive addition to the locations we build in. We can see a brand-new neighbourhood made up of people of all ages forming at Elizabeth Gardens and are looking forward to welcoming more residents to the development in the coming months.”

Construction work at Elizabeth Gardens is set to come to an end in July this year.
