POLICE are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision in Somnes Avenue, Canvey.
Officers received reports of a collision between a motorbike and a black Ford Mondeo Edge at around 2.10pm on Friday, April 8.
The biker, a man in his 20s from Southend, was airlifted to hospital with life-changing injuries.
A spokesman for Essex Police added: "A 55-year-old local man, the driver of the Mondeo, stayed on scene to assist us with our enquiries.
"No arrests have been made.
"Our Roads Policing Unit are appealing for anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage, who witnessed the incident, or who may have seen either vehicle driving prior to the collision, to contact them.
"Please quote the incident number 594 of Friday 8 April."
