A crash on a main road in Southend is causing delays this afternoon.
The collision happened on Southchurch Road, near to the junction with Christchurch Road, and has caused tailbacks beyond Southend High for Girls.
The road is said to be partially blocked as a result.
Bus firm Arriva says some of its services are being diverted as a result of the delays.
It tweeted: "Due to an RTI in Southchurch Road, Route 1 is on diversion via Lifstan Way, Woodgrange Drive & Southchurch Avenue in Both Directions."

Update 4.45pm
Police have now closed the road and are urging drivers to avoid the area.
