A lane of the M25 into Essex has closed with an accident causing "heavy traffic" in the area.
Slow moving traffic is being reported clockwise between Junction 29 (A127) to Junction 31 (Thurrock) after a car collided with a barrier.
Policewere called to the incident at 5.45am which has had a knock on effect on other roads with the Londonbound A13 towards the M25 also slow as well as on other roads in Thurrock.

The incident led to warnings from police about the traffic in the area with Essex Police telling driver to add more time to travel due to due to “heavy traffic” throughout Thurrock’s road network.
Elsewhere in the county there are also delays to the A127 between Kent Elms Corner and Progress Road on entry to Eastwood.
