ESSEX police make four arrests following reports of a robbery on a train.
British Transport Police confirmed they worked with Essex Police to get a train stopped, and make arrests, following reports of a robbery on a c2c rail service in Southend.
They added the stolen items were also recovered.

A spokesman for the British Transport Police said: “We received a report of a robbery on c2c rail service in Southend.
“Working closely with Essex Police Southend we got the train stopped, officers to the scene, suspects identified, four arrests made, and stolen items recovered.
“Once again, great Police team work to help keep Essex safe.”
