A HEARTBROKEN husband has paid tribute to his “loving and caring” wife who died in hospital.

Mum of two, Kirsty Davies, died at Southend Hospital following heart complications.

Her grieving husband, Matthew, said Kirsty had long feared she would never have children.

Mr Davies said: “We met 13 years ago and we would have been married five years in April.

"She didn’t think she could ever have children due to her heart condition but she just adored them.

Echo:

“She would do anything for them and she was a loving and caring person and would help anyone always.

“She did have anxiety and depression and at the time she doubted if anyone liked her but everyone loved her.

"Her family was her biggest passion, the whole family and the kids too.

"It was her real passion and her life.”

Mr Davies claims his wife died after Southend Hospital failed to realise she had heart issues and problems with blood not being pumped properly around her body.

He claims she went to hospital repeatedly but it was not picked up despite the fact she was under the Royal Brompton Hospital care.

Mr Davies added: “The children don’t really understand and we talk about where mummy is.

"I tell them she’s in a special sleep and loves them. I tell them she will visit them in their dreams if they ask her to.

"I don’t really know how to deal with it and it’s really hard."

He added: “The family is just sole destroyed and we blame ourselves and feel if we’d been there we could have got her better and more care urgently.

“She loved the sun and horses, neither of which I like at all. She loved holidays and arts and crafts with the kids too.

“She was a loving caring person and would help anyone with anything at any time.”
