THERE will be a royal banquet of events lined up for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
From picnics to parties, they will all celebrate Her Majesty the Queen becoming the first British Monarch to celebrate 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

St Nicholas Church, in Great Wakering, will host a Jubilee flower festival and an exhibition of Rochford Heritage Tapestries from June 4 to 12, 10am to 4pm. The event is free. Visit www.platinumjubilee.gov.uk.

Visit The Forum to view a range of historical material including photographs, film footage, slide shows and newspaper articles. The exhibition will run from 28 May to 11 June during opening hours, in the first floor meeting rooms at The Forum.

The Jubilee Party Festival Garon Park is on Wednesday, 25 May 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm. Get your wiggle on with an evening of exercise to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee with Active Life.

Join Leigh Town Council for a Jubilee Picnic at Bonchurch Park on Sunday, 29 May from 12pm to 3pm.

Bring a blanket and enjoy live musical performances at Southend Jubilee Mega Fun Day at Garon Park on Friday, 3 June from 11am to 4pm. Celebrate the Jubilee with inflatables for children aged up to 11 years old.

Jubilee on Southend Pier and Railway will run on Saturday, 4 from 11am to 6pm. 
There will be a host of royally fun activities this family friendly event will appeal to all ages.

Community Jubilee Art Event, Garon Park, Sunday, 5 June from 9am am to 4pm. The New City Gallery Team will be showcasing their work and running art workshops.

Big Jubilee Lunch events will run at Basildon borough’s parks on 5 June. 
They are being held at Gloucester Park, Basildon from 12pm to 4pm, The Nevendon Centre, Wickford from 12pm to 5pm, The Paddocks, Pound Lane, Laindon, 2pm to 6pm, Laindon Community Centre, Laindon, 12pm to 7pm and Chalvedon Community Centre, Pitsea, 1pm to 5pm.

Rayleigh Town Museum is holding an exhibition of royal memorabilia, featuring items and photographs of previous local royal visits and celebrations. It will run until Saturday 16 July.

All Parkplays on Saturday 4 June will have special games and bunting for the Jubilee. 
On the same day, they are also hosting a celebration at Vange Primary school from 12pm until 2.30pm, inviting everyone to attend from all Basildon ParkPlays. They will have some more games, food/drink and a bouncy castle.

The Rotary Club of Billericay Mayflower will be holding two events: A Soapbox Derby on Friday June 3 and Musicfest on Saturday June 4.
Both events will be taking place at Sun Corner, Queen Elizabeth II field, and will be open for all to attend. 

Bowers and Gifford North Benfleet Parish Council are hosting Jubilee celebrations on Sunday June 5 where there will be live music, a children’s entertainer, stalls, games, vintage cars and tug of war. Guests are invited to bring a picnic and to dress in a 50s style, which is optional.
The event is free to enter and will take place at Westlake Park, Pound Lane, Bowers Gifford between 12pm to 4pm. 

Paddocks Community Hall Jubilee Fun Day will take place on Sunday June 5, with a variety of stalls. The event will take place at Paddocks Community Hall, Pound Lane, Laindon.

Wickford Town Council and The Friends of Wickford Memorial Park are hosting Wickford Jubilee celebrations on Thursday 2 June. 
There will be a Lantern Parade at 8.30pm, followed by the Beacon Lighting Cermeony at 9.15pm to 10pm. This will take place at Wickford Memorial Park Aboretum.

Wickford Community Association is hosting a Big Jubilee Lunch on Sunday June 5. There will be free family entertainment, a vintage singer, afternoon tea and refreshments. This event will take place at Nevendon Centre, Nevendon Road, Wickford, SS12 0QG between 11.30am and 5pm.

Noak Bridge Parish Council will be holding a beacon lighting ceremony on the Wash Road open space on Thursday 2 June at 9.30pm.
