POLICE are looking to locate two men seen acting suspiciously before the theft of a car.

An investigation is underway after the theft of a car outside a home in Rayleigh.

The black Jaguar F Space was taken from the driveway in Dawes Heath Road on May 15, at around 5.45am.

The vehicle has since been found in Benfleet and returned to the owner.

Essex Police are now looking for two suspects, who were seen acting suspiciously outside the address shortly before the theft took place.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are investigating the theft of a car from outside a home in Rayleigh.

“Two suspects were seen acting suspiciously outside the address shortly before the theft took place.

“We believe both to be male.

“The first is white, aged between 15 and 18 and of slim build. He was wearing a black hooded tracksuit top, with the hood up, and black tracksuit bottoms with a white logo on the front, and black trainers.

“The second is also white and aged between 18 and 25. He is of slim build, with dark facial hair and was wearing a black and grey hooded tracksuit top with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms and white or grey trainers.

“We need anyone who saw anyone matching the description of the people or has any dash cam or doorbell footage to contact us.
