CROWDS gathered as a former RAF bomber completed a high-power engine run.
The Avro Vulcan was out and about the airport yesterday evening as it completed its annual taxi run.
The London Southend Airport did a special broadcast of the event live on their social media, where they even took viewers underneath the aircraft while commencing the engine start procedure.
It is a unique event which commemorated the role played by the Vulcan in the Falklands conflict.
This was also the first time the Vulcan taxi could be seen at twilight.
