A CRASH between a car and a scooter which led to a road closure has sparked a police appeal for information. 

Station Approch was closed yesterday following an incident between a car and a scooter shortly after 4pm yesterday. 

There were no serious injuries but police are appealing for anyone with any information.  

The road has since reopened.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We were called to Station Approach, Hockley, shortly after 4pm yesterday, Tuesday 24 May, following reports of a collision between a car and a scooter.

"No one was seriously injured.

"Our enquiries are ongoing, and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam or doorbell footage to get in touch.
