Fire crews were called to a home after a garage blaze spread to the roof of the property.
The firefighters attended the incident in Stablefields, Runwell at about 4.16pm yesterday. Four crews attended with one aerial ladder platform.
On arrival, crews reported that a fire in a garage was spreading to the roof and loft of a house.
Crews wearing Breathing Apparatus entered the loft to prevent the fire from spreading to the rest of the house.

Firefighters worked to extinguish the garage fire by 5:35pm.
The garage and the loft of the house were completely destroyed.
An investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of the fire.
Station Manager Al Green said: “Crews worked quickly to prevent the fire spreading throughout the house. Crews in Breathing Apparatus accessed the roof area to help extinguish the fire and this prevented it from spreading further.”
