A DRIVER was left to walk the rest of his journey home after he was caught without insurance in Basildon.
Officers from the Essex Police Operational Support Group had pulled the car over late last night after it was found to have no insurance registered.
The driver behind the wheel was also found to be uninsured so was fined.
His miserable evening was topped off when the officers took the vehicle and meant he was forced to walk home.
