A man has been charged with seven offences as part of an investigation into a series of assaults and sexual assaults reported in Southend.
The incidents took place between September 27 last year and March 20 this year in the Warrior Square and University Square areas of the city.
Victims reported being assaulted and sexually assaulted by a man.

A man was arrested in connection with Essex Police's investigation at Gatwick Airport on May 29.
Prashant Ravishankar, 27, of no fixed address, has been charged with four counts of sexual assault and three counts of assault.
He appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 31.
No pleas were entered and he is due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on June 28.
