More than 70 aircraft flew over parts of Essex today to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The flypast started at about 11.45am with dozens of aircrafts from the Royal Navy, the Army and Royal Air Force soaring across nine different areas in the UK.
Parts of south Essex come under Area D, which meant the Platinum Jubilee Flypast flew over between 12.30pm and 1.15pm today.

The flypast followed Trooping The Colour, and was watched on by the Royals on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Huge cheers erupted from the thousands of well-wishers packed onto The Mall in central London as the monarch emerged for the special flypast.
Eighteen royals stepped out to watch the high-profile flypast, with the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis flanking the monarch.
The six-minute flypast of more than 70 aircraft, including Apache helicopters, Typhoons and The Red Arrows, flew over the Palace.
Fifteen RAF Typhoons paid a special tribute to the monarch's record-breaking reign, flying in the formation of the number 70, prompting smiles from the Queen.
Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said: “I’m proud that the Armed Forces are leading the nation in celebration with such a spectacular display.
“Throughout the Platinum Jubilee celebrations we will all enjoy the expertise, skill and talent of our Armed Forces as we celebrate Her Majesty’s 70 years on the throne.”
