An e-scooter rider is in hospital in critical condition after a serious crash in Essex.
A road was closed this morning while emergency services deal with a serious crash which has left a man in critical condition.
Essex Police is investigating following the serious collision in Harlow.
Officers were called to Westfield, close to Tendring Road, shortly after 5am today (June 8) to reports of a crash involving an e-scooter.

The rider of the e-scooter has been taken to hospital where he is in a critical condition.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the collision or anyone who has dash cam footage."
