Morning commuters are facing delays and heavy traffic on the A127 and on Canvey.
There are delays on the island and around Eastwood and Rayleigh this morning on the A127.
Traffic alerts show there is slow moving traffic in Somnes Avenue between Central Wall Road and Canvey Way, Canvey.
On the A127 London bound there is also slow moving traffic between Rayleigh Weir and the Fairglen Interchange.
The major road also has congestion between Kent Elms Corner and Progress Road in Eastwood.
Drivers may need to find an alternative route during this time.
