A man has been sentenced after stealing from an off-licence and attacking three people in one day.
Paul Robert Jones, 27, stole 4 cans of alcohol worth £11.96, from The Off Licence in the Basildon on May 10.
Jones, of Sorrell Court, Basildon, also attacked two police officers and another man on the same day.

Jones has been ordered to have treatment for alcohol dependency for 6 months after appearing at Basildon Magistrates' Court.
He must also take part in a rehabilitation activity for up to 20 days and carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.
He has been told to pay £50 compensation each to the two officers he attacked, £75 for assaulting the other man, £70 prosecution costs and £11.96 compensation for the theft.
