Police have confirmed an e-scooter rider who was involved in a crash in Essex last week has died.
Officers were called to Westfield in Harlow, close to Tendring Road, shortly after 5am on Wednesday, June 8, to reports of a crash involving an e-scooter and a car.
The rider, a 21-year-old man from Harlow, was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Essex Police has now confirmed he later died. His family are being supported.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are now able to confirm an e-scooter rider who was involved in a collision in Harlow on Wednesday, June 8, has sadly died."
The spokesman added: "We have investigated the circumstances which led up to the collision and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
