HUNDREDS of people gathered in Southend over the weekend for a vigil for Archie.
The vigil took place on Sunday along the seafront where people came together to show their support for Archie and his family.
Purple balloons were also released into the sky for the 12-year-old.
The vigil comes after a judge ruled life-support treatment for Archie Battersbee should stop.

Doctors at the Royal London Hospital told the High Court it was “highly-likely” he was “brain-stem dead”.
In a written ruling, Mrs Justice Arbuthnot also concluded Archie died at noon on May 31, based on MRI scans that day.
Archie’s mother Hollie Dance was devastated by the ruling that his treatment should stop but is set to launch an appeal bid today in court.
She will use a follow-up High Court hearing to ask permission to mount an appeal.
