Two men have now been arrested in connection with a fight which left two men seriously injured.

Officers responded to reports of a group of people involved in a fight in the Eastgate and Market Place area in Harlow at around 3.25am on Saturday.

One man was taken to hospital with a head injury.

A 33 year-old man arrested on suspicion of affray has been bailed until July 15.

Another man, 30, was also arrested on suspicion of affray and taken to hospital for treatment on a broken leg.

He has also been bailed until July 15.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "We need anyone who saw anything or has any footage to contact us.

"Officers are studying CCTV in the area and know there are a lot of people who will have seen what happened but were not involved in the incident or the disorder itself.

"We need them to come forward so we can identify them and find out what they saw."
