A man's been charged after police found a large cannabis grow, suspected Class A drugs, and weapons during a raid.
Officers carried out the warrant at an address in Fenton Road, Chafford Hundred yesterday morning.
Gabriel Acatrinei, of Fenton Road, Chafford Hundred has been charged with producing a Class A drug and producing cannabis.
Inside the property police found a large cannabis grow, suspected Class A drugs, and weapons.
A 20 year-old woman and a 29 year-old man were arrested.
The woman has been released on bail until 20 July.
He is due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court today.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "The trade in illegal drugs is inextricably linked to violence and the proceeds from drugs funds more criminal activity which leads to fear and misery for individuals and communities.
"Stopping the growth and sale of cannabis is vital in tackling violent crime and helps keep our community safe."
