Fewer c2c trains are able to run today as bosses warn services across the whole network may be delayed or revised.

Due to a fault with the signalling system at Pitsea the line is blocked.

Train services running through the station may be subject to disruption on all routes.

The disruption is expected until 2.15pm.

A spokesman for c2c on Twitter said: "Unfortunately we have just been informed that due to a fault with the signalling system at Pitsea fewer trains are able to run.

"Train services running across the whole c2c network may be delayed by up to 5 minutes or revised."

It comes as three-day rail strikes take place this week, with the final strike taking place tomorrow.

Commuters have already been warned by bosses of potential delays, though trains are back running across Essex today.
