Several drivers are set to be prosecuted after going the wrong way down a busy road after a crash in Essex.
Traffic was held on the A130 Northbound on Saturday after a crash from A1245, Bonville's Roundabout in Benfleet to A1245, Rettendon Turnpike, in Battlesbridge.
In an effort to avoid waiting in the queueing traffic, several drivers were reported to have conducted u-turns and went down the wrong way on the busy road.

Whilst dealing with this collision on the A130 today, several reports were received of drivers taking it upon them selves to conduct U-turns and proceed to drive the wrong way to avoid the waiting in congestions. Officers noted their registration plates and say prosecution will follow after their dangerous driving.
An Essex Roads Policing spokesman said: "Whilst dealing with this collision on the A130 today, several reports were received of drivers taking it upon them selves to conduct U-turns and proceed to drive the wrong way to avoid the waiting in congestions.
"Registration plates have been noted and prosecution follows."
