Teens arrested in connection with Two Tree Island stabbing released under investigation
Two teenage boys who were arrested in connection with a stabbing on Two Tree Island have been released under investigation.
A teenage boy suffered potentially life changing injuries in the attack on Wednesday night.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Two Tree Island in Leigh at around 8.40pm on Wednesday.
A teenage boy was taken to hospital with a stab wound which has been described as potentially life-changing.
A 15 year-old boy from Leigh was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a 16 year from Westcliff was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.
Essex Police says both of the boys have been released on bail until July 25.
