A car caught on fire on a busy Essex road this week leaving motorists in miles of queues.
Essex Police's Roads Policing Unit revealed a photo of a severely burnt-out car on the M11 on Wednesday (June 29).
It came after the vehicle burst into flames on the major road which caused motorists to queue in traffic as emergency services dealt with the incident.

The front of the car was left severely burnt after the blaze, the picture shows, and the windscreen was smashed.
The occupants of the car were thankfully unharmed after the devastating fire.
An Essex Roads Policing spokesman added on Twitter: "Thank you to the patient motorists caught in the traffic while we managed the situation."
