A driver who was caught in Basildon behind the wheel while uninsured was forced to walk this weekend.
The young man had been stopped in Basildon on Saturday and found to not be insured.
Officers from Essex Police's roads policing unit say he claimed he thought his mum had arranged his insurance.

His car was seized and the driver was forced to walk as a result.
A spokesman for Essex Roads Policing on Twitter said: "Driver's responsibility. Now seized and driver walking."
