Angry residents have reported seeing teen boys riding a moped in and out of traffic without helmets.
Essex Police officers in Castle Point say they've received "several" reports of teenage boys riding a white moped in and out of traffic in Benfleet.
The youngsters have been spotted driving in the High Road and Tarpots area.

They are described as being aged between 12 and 14 years old.
None of the boys were wearing helmets, reports say, and the registration plate was covered by a surgical face mask.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We have received reports of teenage boys riding a white moped 'three up' in and out of traffic in the High Road and Tarpots area of Benfleet without helmets around 3pm this afternoon, July 4.
"If you saw anything or have any dash-cam footage, please let us know on 101 or use our 'livechat' service, quoting incident number 0699 - 04/07."
