A GIRL spotted by model scouts shopping in Lakeside has appeared on a BBC show.
Natalie Hermitage, 19, of Belhus Park, South Ockendon, made it to the final four models of Find Me the Face.
The BBC Three documentary series follows two of Britain's top model scouts, Becky Southwick and Jody Furlong, hunting talent.
Natalie, who attended The Ockendon School and Palmer's College, in Grays, said: "I had never modelled before and this was an amazing opportunity and a wonderful experience. I count myself very lucky."
Ditching the size-zero stereotype and looking for a different kind of model each time, the aim of the show is to find new faces who can make a noise in such a ferociously competitive world.
Becky and Jody set the challenge of finding a lingerie girl for Premier Model Management, the agency behind Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford.
Natalie, who is an administration assistant in West Horndon, also appeared on Channel Four's Richard and Judy Show on Monday. She added: "I am eager to try my hardest to get into modelling or even advertising work."
After the show Natalie was approached by her mentor, Jody Furlong, who asked her to join his casting agency, The Eye Casting.
