POLICE have launched an investigation after more than £18,000 worth of beauty products were stolen across Boots stores in south Essex.

Officers are looking to speak to five people in connection with thefts from Boots stores.

More than £18,000 was taken during three incidents at stores in Southend and Basildon.

A spokesman for Essex Police urged those who recognise these people pictured to get in contact.

They said: “We want to speak to these five people in connection with thefts from Boots stores in Southend and Basildon.

“More than £18,000 worth of beauty products were stolen during three incidents at stores in The Royals Shopping Centre, Southend and Town Square, Basildon on July 3 and 21.

“If you recognise those pictured, we need you to contact us.

“Please quote the crime reference number 42/173561/22.
