A CYCLIST is in critical condition following a crash with a pedestrian in Billericay.
Essex Police is appealing for witnesses following the incident in Billericay on Tuesday, August 2.
Officers were called to Mountnessing Road near the Pleasant Drive junction at around 7.20pm following reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a pedestrian.

The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains there in a critical condition.
The road was temporarily shut and reopened around 10.30pm.
