ECHO readers have reacted to the unfortunate new name of Southend United's west stand.
The National League club's chairman Ron Martin has confirmed it will change the name of the west stand after a deal with estate agent Gilbert & Rose meant it was called the “Gilbert & Rose West Stand”.
His confirmation comes after the new name sparked a flurry of activity on social media over its unintentional reference to serial killer Rose West.
Talking on TalkSport, Mr Martin confirmed the club was “definitely going to change it”.

But some Echo readers have said the club should keep the unfortunate name.
Dave Law said: "This sums up Southend and the football club perfectly, please keep it."
Daniel Hollidays added: "Leave it up."
Others were left in stitches over the blunder.
Susie Ward said: "Sounds like a Gavin and Stacey moment."
However, some readers were not as amused.
Trevor Stanbridge commented: "This is looking like the defining moment of our season... it hasn't even started yet and the club have messed something up.
"Let's hope we have better luck on the pitch."
