Trespassers on the railway at Pitsea have forced c2c to run its trains on the line at a reduced speed.

Following trespassers on the railway at Pitsea the line is now open.

However, c2c says its trains have to run at a reduced speed on the line following the incident.

A c2c spokesman said: "Due to trespassers on the railway at Pitsea trains have to run at reduced speed on the line.

"Some services may be altered or cancelled."

Disruption is expected until 6pm.

If a journey has been disrupted by more than 15 minutes, customers may be entitled to cash compensation.
