Nando's is opening a new Basildon restaurant
NANDO’S will be opening a new restaurant in Basildon later this year.
The nation’s favourite flame-grilled peri-peri chicken chain has signed up to Basildon Council’s flagship East Square cinema development.
The new restaurant will open later this year, with work beginning on August 2.
It will replace the current Easgate Shopping Centre, which will be closing, with all staff transfered across.
The new restaurant will have 100 covers, and "a unique Nando’s design" according to the firm.
It is the third restaurant confirmed for Empire Cinema East Square development.
The compelx will feature six restaurants.
Orleto Lounge opened in February and Kaspa’s Desserts is opening in Autumn.
