ESSEX weather centre has predicted when the next heatwave will hit the county.
Temperatures are set to rise this weekend and into next week.
The heat is not expected to be as extreme as in mid-July when temperatures almost reached 40’c.

However, this weekend and into next week temperatures are rising and could reach more than 30’c.
The Essex weather centre is predicting the highest point of the wave could be on Saturday, August 13, with temperatures potentially peaking close to 35’c.

Nights are looking cooler than the previous heatwave, with temperatures averaging around 12’c to 20’c.
Temperatures are likely to be above average for the rest of August, with Essex weather centre saying there is no rain for at least the next 10 days.
