South Essex magistrates have seen a number of cases of littering involving Basildon residents.

Here's our round up of the Basildon people who dropped litter and were sentenced in court.

Isham Sutton, 20, of Beambridge, Basildon was fined for littering.

On November 19 in Grays he threw down, dropped or otherwise deposited litter, namely cigarette and left it in Crown Road, Outside Bus Stop a place to which section 87 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 applied.

He was fined £220, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34, pay costs of £200.00 and a collection order was made.

Dana Lazar, 25, of Ardleigh, Basildon, was fined for dropping litter.

On June 9 in Basildon they threw down, dropped or otherwise deposited litter, namely fast food and left it in Bowden House, Luckyn Lane a place to which section 87 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 applied.

They were fined £115, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34, and pay costs of £500.

Harley Roberts, 23, of Havalon Close, Basildon was sentencing for dropping a cigarette.

On June 2 2021 in the London borough of Waltham Forest he threw down, dropped or otherwise deposited litter, namely cigarette and left it in the High Street, near Walthamstow Bus Station.

He was fined £220, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.00 and pay costs of £75.00. A collection order was made.

Sean Gouch, 35, of Clay Hill Road, Basildon, was fined in court for dropping a cigarette.

On October 30 in the London borough of Enfield he threw down, dropped or otherwise deposited litter, namely cigarette and left it outside Edmonton Green Train Station, Church Street, Edmonton Green.

He was fined £220, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and pay costs of £150.00 and a collection order was made.

Sonney Parrott, 31, of The Lickfields, Basildon, was fined in court for dropping a cigarette in McDonalds.

On June 17 in Basildon he threw down, dropped or otherwise deposited litter, namely cigarette butt and left it in McDonalds, Honywood Road.

He was fined £300, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and pay costs of £485.

Christopher Cooper, 45, of Fyfields, Pitsea, was in court for dropping a cigarette in the street.

On October 5 in Bexleyheath he threw down, dropped or otherwise deposited litter, namely a cigarette and left it in onto the ground outside Dentix, Broadway, Bexleyheath, Kent.

He was fined £220, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs of £250.
