A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash which saw the A13 in south Essex partially blocked.
Traffic was at a standstill on the A13 near Stanford-le-Hope after a crash earlier today.
The A13 was partially blocked with queueing traffic due to a crash on A13 Stanford-Le-Hope Bypass Eastbound between A128 Brentwood Road (Orsett Cock) and A1014 The Manorway (Stanford-Le-Hope turn off).
A video sent in to the Echo showed an ambulance arriving at the scene and witnesses reported seeing a car on its side.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 2.10pm to a road traffic collision on the A13 near Stanford-le-Hope.
“An ambulance was sent to the scene and transported an adult woman to Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital for treatment.”
