A drink driver who was caught behind the wheel in Southend while almost twice over the limit has been fined and banned from the roads for more than a year.
Collin Eaton, of Newington Avenue, Southend was stopped in the same road and found to have 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35.
The 55-year-old has been fined £120 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £48 as well as £105 in prosecution costs.
He has also been banned from driving for 18 months.
