TRAIN services on the c2c line between Barking and West Ham were severely disrupted last night.
A tree had fallen on the track at about 8.30pm, closing the line.
Trains were instead strating and terminating at Barking station.
The disruptions caused massive delays with hundreds of commuters queuing in London Liverpool Street for trains as a result.
The track is now clear.
A c2c spokesman said: "Due to a tree blocking the railway between Barking and West Ham the line was blocked.
"Services were severely disrupted, trains started and terminated from Barking."
