Bans are "likely" for a number of drivers caught speeding along the A130 by patrolling officers today.
Essex Police's motorcycle unit in Chelmsford have been conducting high visibility patrols along the A130 and around the city today.
Speed checks on the A130 this morning resulted in more than 100 drivers being reported with points and fines handed out.

However, for some of the drivers caught in the operation today, officers say disqualification is likely.
The highest speed recorded along the major road was 101 mph, which an Essex Police roads policing unit spokesman says is "unacceptable".
