A FAMOUS British illusionist has expressed his opinion on Southend following his recent stay.
Derren Brown was staying in the area during his live show titled ‘Showman’ at the Cliffs Pavilion.
The show was on from Tuesday, August 30 until the finale last night.
He has given a specific mention to new Leigh Broadway café, Alchemy, on social media.
On Twitter, the illusionist said: “Bye Southend! A lovely week.
“And Leigh-on-Sea boasts an extraordinary cafe - Alchemy.
“Thank you guys there for having me, your brunches are magnificent.”
He is now set to continue his UK tour, with Birmingham as his next stop.
