In reply to councillor Anna Waite's letter (Echo, March 27) Plans Flag up a Road to the East', I assume she still means the flagged up road in the long lamented Priory Crescent scheme.
I quote from a letter to me from the head of planning and transport, dated July 26, 2007, which says it all in one line, "there are currently no proposals to create a link road to the East as you have set out".
Perhaps Mrs Waite should refer to her own planning documents.
