Although I am over 70 with epilepsy, I still keep active with table tennis once a week at the Markhams Chase Sports Centre in Laindon.
I used to be a member of the George Hurd Centre before I started to have some problems with the management.
With the new George Hurd Centre due to open shortly in Audley Way, let us all hope and pray that its management, staff and the newly formed user committee welcomes all members irrespective of any physical or mental disabilities and there is no hint of any discrimination.
