I have carefully studied Mr Tucker's personal view that he believes 99.3 percent of people are in favour of the new sports village at Basildon's Gloucester Park.
He is no doubt aware there are local council elections coming up on May 1, and this could be an overwhelming vote catcher for the present ruling Conservative Party.
Let me remind Mr Tucker there are over 10,000 senior citizens and handicapped people who will probably disagree with him.
