OFFICERS confirmed late last night that a body was discovered in a south Essex park.
Police were called to Northlands Park at around 6pm last night, September 25.
This was following concerns for the welfare of someone.
Sadly, the body of a man was discovered, and he has died.
There is currently no cause of death provided by police.

However, Essex Police has said the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
The man’s next of kin have also been informed and are receiving support from the police.
At the time of the concerned reports, many residents took to social media to question the large emergency service presence in the area.
Although not confirmed, the East of England Ambulance Service were reportedly also on the scene alongside police.
They have been contacted for comment.
