A SPECIAL police operation was held on Sunday night targeting teens on e-scooters in Billericay.
Plain clothes officers from The Billericay and Wickford Community Policing Team were patrolling Billericay Highstreet and Queens Park yesterday.
The police operation was launched following complaints from members of the public regarding e-Scooters being ridden illegally and anti social behaviour being committed.
A number of scooters were seized by police.
