Officers are warning drivers to "remain vigilant" after three Toyota CH-R models were stolen in the Corringham and Basildon areas overnight.
A grey Toyota CH-R hybrid, registration MA70PHU, was stolen from Gardner Avenue in Corringham at around 12.30am on September 28.
On the same day, a silver Toyota CH-R hybrid, registration PN19WLV, was stolen from Malyons Green, Basildon at around 1am.
These are two of three of these models which were stolen in Corringham and Basildon overnight, police say.
Appealing to find one of the cars, a spokesman for Essex Police's stolen vehicle intelligence unit said: "This was one of three Toyota CH-R models stolen in the Corringham and Basildon area overnight.
"Please remain vigilant and add extra security features to your vehicle where possible, Faraday bags are also recommended."
