A MAN trapped in a heavy goods vehicle after a crash on the A13 has been freed by firefighters.
The A13 is blocked London bound between A1089 and A1012 due to a crash involving two heavy goods vehicles, Essex Fire confirm.
On arrival to the crash near Orsett, crews worked hard to release the man trapped, before leaving him in the care of the ambulance service.
The road is still likely to remain closed for some time.

A spokesman for Essex Fire and Rescue said: “Firefighters were called to reports of a road traffic collision on the A13 this morning.
“On arrival, crews confirmed that two heavy goods vehicles had been involved in the collision.
“One man was trapped in one of the vehicles. Firefighters worked hard to release the man, before leaving him in the care of the East of England Ambulance Service.
“The road is likely to remain closed for some time while the area is made completely safe - if you're travelling this morning, please use an alternative route if you can.”
